Our Story
Berylene’s (or Grandma Ber’s) love of making candy began in 1956 where she was taught by an elderly woman in her neighborhood how to make candy. She hand tempered and dipped chocolate from a small melting machine and spent many hours in the kitchen perfecting her recipes.
Quality That’s Homemade
Grandma Ber decided in the 70’s she was ready to take her candy to the next level. She attended a school in Pennsylvania where she learned the art of chocolate. After having her recipes professionally tasted and tested, only a few adjustments were made. 50 years later, her recipes have stood the test of time and are always a crowd favorite. There’s a reason her chocolates taste different from the rest. Always fresh and always quality that’s homemade.

A Tradition That Lives On
Meridee began learning the art of dipping chocolates when she married into the family in 1977. She developed a love for making candy while sitting across from Grandma Ber during Christmas time. Berylene’s rich knowledge of candy and chocolate inspired her to learn these skills. Meridee spent over 25 years being a partner with her in the candy business and continues to carry on the family tradition and recipes.
